Donald Savitz, M.D.
Dr. Savitz received both his BS and MD from George Washington University in Washington D.C before moving to New York. He completed his internship at Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center and his residency in dermatology at Albert Einstein College of Medicine, where he was chief resident.
Dr. Savitz has owned private practices in Stamford, CT and Bronx, NY for over 20 years. He and his family have lived in West Chelsea for 10 years, and he is excited to share his expertise with the local community.
“I’ve always been fascinated by the variety of possibilities regarding skin behavior and with the ways that skin reacts to both internal and external influences – having the ability to effect these changes both medically and cosmetically gives me tremendous satisfaction. Getting to know my patients personally and understand how their treatment results impact their lives is very rewarding. Despite being an idealist – which I am – I like keeping it “real” with my patients and their treatment options. That can sometimes be challenging in a field that is inundated with hype and misleading promotions – but it is important to me.”
